PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain complex stimulation-responsive polymers which can interchange a lower critical stimulation temperature(LCST) with an upper critical stimulation temperature(UCST) by stimulation or cause reversible dissolution and precipitation in individual single compounds by hydrogen ion concentration and have a markedly wide range of applications such as drug delivery systems(DDS), various separating materials, catheters and artificial muscles. SOLUTION: Complex stimulation responsive polymeric derivatives having a LSCT comprise at least one monomer component represented by the formula (wherein R1 is H or methyl; and R2 is 1-10C straight chain, branched or cyclic alkyl, alkoxy or alkylamino, aryl or a heterocyclic ring and each may be halogenated).
