Music regenerative function equipped digital still camera and image music reproducing arrangement

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new mode of application to a digital camera by recording image pickup timing data denoting detected timing when a shutter release button is depressed, data specifying reproduced music and picture data obtained through image pickup to a recording medium in cross-reference with each other. SOLUTION: A timing information recording area is formed to an area next to an audio frame storing music data. Data denoting depressing of a shutter release button while the music data stored in the audio frame are being outputted and data to specify a picture file denoting an object image obtained by photographing are stored in the timing information recording area. Furthermore, the music file in which the above data are stored in the timing information recording area is read from a buffer memory and recorded onto the music file recording area of a memory card.
