The superposed separate or extension cage for e.g. mink farming has bottom clamps connecting it to the lower main cage walls and incorporated in plastics vertical peripheral panels. The plastics vertical panels contain top holes taking conventional m etal clips applied to the wire-mesh sides of the superposed cage, to simplify peripheral bonding of this and the main cage.
