Compositions isolated from the grasses lolium perenne and festuca arundinacea

Provided are isolated polynucleotides from the grass species Festuca arundinacea encoding polypeptides active in the fructan biosynthetic pathway. Further disclosed are expression vectors and host cells comprising such isolated polynucleotides. Methods for the use of such polynucleotides and polypeptides are also provided.
