A method for growing the subtropical plant Feijoa selloviana in the climatic conditions of the Cis-Carpathian region such that seedlings are planted into the outdoor area of a trench, they are cultivated according to a traditional technology, in doing so at low air temperatures they are covered with a covering material. Feijoa selloviana seedlings are planted in spring into the soil of a trench of a depth of , the plants are bent for lower than the upper level of the trench. At stable decrease of temperature lower than 0 ° the plants are covered, at rise of temperature higher than 0 ° the plants are uncovered.
