Sail and sail bearer for wind-driven leisure-time sailing boat are simplified and further developments of already known wing sails

The sail and sail bearer for a leisure-time sailing boat consist of double overlapping sail sheets which supply greater tractive force than usual with only one sail sheet. This greater effect is obtained by the formation of a distance between both sheets with distance material between them. The arrangement thereby has a section as a wing profile. With the invention, during sailing the distance between the sail sheets can be regulated and thereby the effect on the boat movement. The sail can even be rolled around a profile without the rolled sail having a greater diameter than a currently used sail around its forestay profile. The sail can be manoeuvred with sheeting in the same simple way as conventional sail, despite the use of double sail sheets.
