Device for traction control of a winch that can be applied to a crane where the crane is of a type having a tower (1) to which there are connected a main boom (1a, 1b) and one or more sections extensible hydraulic (2, 3, 4, 5) moved by hydraulic actuators (2a, 3a, 4a, 5a), the crane also comprising: a winch (10) on which a cable (11) is wrapped, connected to main boom (1a, 1b) of the crane; a pulley (16) connected to one end of a final section (5) of the telescopic sections (2, 3, 4, 5), which pulley deviates a direction of the cable (11); a hook (12) connected to one end of the cable (11), characterized in that said device for traction control comprises a frame (13), which can be associated integrally the winch (10), and detection means which in use movement of the frame (13) relative to a crane structure can be activated by cable pull (11) on the frame (13), wherein the frame (13) in use can be set a crane structure with a certain play; wherein the detection means counteracts movements between the frame (13) and the crane structure and provide a command signal which is proportional to a force generated following contact between the frame (13) and the crane structure ; the command signal commanding the actuation of the hydraulic actuators.
