Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) method for diagnosing the -786C/T mutation in the eNOS (endothelial nitric oxide synthase) gene; (2) kit for method (1); and (3) DNA oligonucleotides (A') having any of four sequences (19-21 nt) defined in the specification.
