A device for engraving a stone photograph is provided to easily engrave a practical photograph image similar to a real photograph image on a surface of a stone plate. In a device for engraving a stone photograph, a stone plate is mounted on a worktable(10). A carrier(20) is movably mounted on a top side of the worktable. An engraving head part(30) has a probe to engrave the surface of the stone plate by up and down vibrations. And, the photograph image is engraved on the surface of the stone plate mounted on the worktable according to a brightness of the photograph image with moving the engraving head part forward/backward and right/left on the worktable by the photograph image transmitted from a computer(3).
