A concrete-penetrating waterproof agent and a method for waterproofing a concrete structure by using the concrete-penetrating waterproof agent are provided to improve the adhesion, waterproofness and strength of concrete. A concrete-penetrating waterproof agent comprises a suspension comprising 10-80 wt% of a silicate and 20-90 wt% of water, wherein the silicate comprises 65-90 wt% of a silica dispersion solution containing 75-99 wt% of silica, 3-10 wt% of sodium silicate, 3-10 wt% of an alumina compound, 1-3 wt% of sodium sulfate, and 3-12 wt% of water. Preferably the alumina compound is bauxite. A method for waterproofing a concrete structure comprises the steps of applying an impurities removing agent to the surface of concrete; and applying the concrete-penetrating waterproof agent to the surface-treated concrete.
