A segmented control coil for plasma in a tokamak is provided to simultaneously perform position control and magnetic field compensation for controlling the plasma in the tokamak. A segmented control coil(20) for plasma in a tokamak is composed of a plurality of plasma control coils(21-24). Each of the plasma control coils is formed by connecting four segments in series and performs position control of the plasma. The plurality of plasma control coils is connected to each other to perform magnetic field compensation of the plasma. The plurality of plasma control coils are connected to the outside of the tokamak by lead wires inside coil leads through external four ports.
