A converged service base station system for marine services and a method thereof are provided to offer marine services without installing an additional marine service base station at the coverage of a land service base station. A converged service base station system(100) comprises a forward IF part(120), a forward service RF part(131), a downlink RF part(132), a reverse service RF part(141), an uplink RF part(142), and a reverse IF part(150). The forward IF part converts a baseband signal, inputted from a channel card(110), into an IF signal. The forward service RF part converts the IF signal into a service frequency signal, amplifies it, and transmits it through an antenna. The downlink RF part receives an IF signal, which is identical to a signal inputted from the forward service RF part, from the forward IF part, converts it into an RF signal of a link frequency of which the frequency band is different from the service frequency signal, amplifies the converted signal, and transmits it to a marine repeater which uses the link frequency. The reverse service RF part receives an RF signal of a service frequency into an IF signal. The uplink RF part receives an RF signal of the link frequency from the marine repeater, converts it into an IF signal, and outputs the converted signal. The reverse IF part receives a mixed signal containing the IF signal outputted from the reverse service RF part and the IF signal outputted from the uplink RF part, converts it into a baseband signal, and inputs it to a channel card.
