METHODS OF GATHERING AND MANAGEMENT NEIGHBOR LIST ON REAL TIME TO PROVIDE HANDOFF SERVICE IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method for providing a handoff service in wireless communication system is provided to enable a base station to efficiently manage radio signal delimiters of Femto cells and general base stations. In the opening step, a user or an operator is provided with information, which shows the location of a base station such as installation address or line telephone number, for registration to establish a Femto cell base station. In the stage of operation, an investigator location and base station radio signal delimiters are moved or collected through an investigator, and then are transmitted to a wireless network management server. The wireless network management server verifies a neighbor list and various base station information based on radius or distance criteria, and then transmits modified information to a corresponding base station in real time.
