A TV broadcasting system and an STB(Set-Top Box) for managing a local TV broadcasting system integrally are provided to enable a central management server to manage or monitor plural TV receivers by remote, thereby managing the TV broadcasting system more efficiently. A TV broadcasting system(100) comprises an STB(140), plural regional management servers(130), a central management server(110), and a repeater(120). The STB is connected to a TV receiver(150) to transceive broadcasting information and control data to the TV receiver. The plural regional management servers are arranged by specific region to control the STB belonging to the specific region. The central management server manages the plural regional management servers, and transmits control data to the STB to monitor the status of the TV receiver or control the TV receiver by remote.
