A method and a system for managing SLA(Service Level Agreement) communication quality in an IPTV(Internet Protocol Television) service are provided to allow an operator to prevent infringement of an SLA index through an alarm and infringement notification information, and allow a communication provider to directly check quality of a subscriber. A communication quality information acquiring unit(201) acquires data regarding communication quality of an IPTV service subscriber. A communication quality data collector(202) collects communication quality data acquired by the communication quality information acquiring unit. A communication quality information analyzer(203) analyzes the communication quality data. A communication quality processor(204) processes the communication quality data to obtain history information. An SLA quality monitor(208) monitors infringement particulars of communication quality by comparing the obtained history information and SLA agreement information between a subscriber and a communication provider. A data manager(205) manages the history information and the monitored infringement particulars. A database(206) stores the history information and the infringement particulars. An SLA-UI(User Interface) processor(211) receives a status through the data manager and provides it to the subscriber or an operator. An SLA(Service Level Agreement)-UI(User Interface) processor(207) receives the state information from the data manager and provides the received state information to a user through a web based GUI(Graphic User Interface).
