FIELD: food-processing industry.;SUBSTANCE: food product casing consists of thermoplastic mixture including at least one aliphatic polyamide and/or copolyamide and/or at least one aliphatic and/or partly aliphatic copolyamide having glycol and/or polyglycol chains, and also at least one inorganic and/or organic filler. Casing has rough surface with maximal height R_max of 7-60 micron of profile irregularities determined in accordance with DIN 4768, and water steam permeability of at least 50 g/m² per day determined in accordance with DIN 53122.
