FIELD: physics.;SUBSTANCE: cascade of gas centrifuges for uranium enrichment, having equal or similar number of centrifuges in each stage, all stages embraced by circulating interstage isotope gas mixture flows; the cascade having effluent flows in its effluent and dump parts, two makeup flows wit a central cascade part between them. The cascade control method includes cascade preliminary optimization calculation to determine matrix coefficients of fluid dynamic parameters of the stages. Then the cascade adjustment is carried out to achieve optimal mass flowrate of transit isotope gas mixture flowing towards dump part of the cascade; such adjustment is provided by varying mass flowrate of effluent ans/or makeup flow in its effluent part, said variation is proportional to deviation of target isotope's actual concentration from its calculated optimal concentration in interstage flow of the middle stage in the cascade centre. The middle stage of the cascade centre is chosen by means of additional calculation of target isotope's concentration in interstage flows of the cascade centre when mass flowrate of the transit flow deviates form its optimal value, and stage having maximum deviation of calculated concentration from the optimal one is chosen. Actual concentration of target isotope is determined in depleted interstage flow of the cascade middle stage.;EFFECT: easier control, improved control accuracy.;3 cl, 2 dwg
