The method involves determining code word lengths on the basis of length of a previously coded part of text divided by a parameter and approximated and quantized text length. The code word lengths are also determined on the basis of an occurrence of a symbol in the part of the previously coded text divided by the parameter and approximated and quantized occurrence. A list of previously coded symbols (a 1-a 16) is provided. A process is provided for the actualization of the length of the coded symbol and another process modifies the code, after the length of a symbol is changed.
