The valve system for controlling several hydraulic proportional valves (10, 11) comprises at least three servo-valves (20 - 23) whose outlets are connected to the working chambers (12 - 15) of the proportional valves. A switching valve (30) is fitted on the lines connecting the servo-valves to the proportional valves. This is electromagnetically operated and has a single slide (40).
