Making support frame to carry stretching rollers used e.g. in textile industry, cuts side frames from sheet metal by laser, without subsequent mechanical treatment of cut edges
Making support frame to carry stretching rollers used e.g. in textile industry, cuts side frames from sheet metal by laser, without subsequent mechanical treatment of cut edges
Left and right side frames (10) of the support (5) are cut from sheet metal. Bearings (31, 32, 33) for lower rollers of the stretching mechanism (1), are laid onto the cut edges (11) left by the cutting process. The side frames are connected by ribs (20) at right angles to them (10). These are also laser-cut from sheet metal. The cut edges undergo no subsequent mechanical treatment, for mounting the bearings. The side frames and ribs are clamped at several locations, in a holding device. They are aligned and then welded together, using e.g. a laser. The side frames have opposite parallel clamping surfaces against which they are clamped in the holding device. The cut edges accommodating the bearings (31, 32) are used as clamping surfaces. The side frames and ribs are clamped in at least three directions. They are cut such that bearings (34) can be fastened to them, to hold a calender roller following the lower rollers. Openings are cut in the side frames by laser, and used to store the main drive- and/or transmission shaft. The support is galvanized. It is fastened to a lower sheet (7) or slab, preferably by laser-welding. Further mechanical and geometric details are provided. The stretching mechanism of a machine preparing for spinning, e.g. a card, stretching mechanism or combing machine, is equipped with such a holder. An independent claim IS INCLUDED FOR the corresponding holder.
