The method involves fixing friction linings (2, 3) to one of sides (4, 5) of a base (6) of a clutch disk (1). The friction linings and the base are inserted into a tool through the effect of heat and/or pressure. A part of the surface of the base is processed before the connecting process in the tool in such a manner that the part of the surface has a rising extending normally to the surface of the base. An independent claim is also included for a clutch disk of a clutch device of a motor vehicle.
