The method involves forming surface or parts of a vehicle in a spatial structure. A layer of near-surface small eddies is formed through the spatial structure in a flowing medium, where the spatial structure has cup-shaped recesses lying transverse to a mainstream direction. The distances between the cup-shaped recesses are smaller than the diameters of the recesses. The cup recesses have a depth, which is less than 20 percentages of their diameter.
