The fuel injecting device (1) has injecting valve and gas exchange valve (15) which are adjusted between an open and a closed position. The feed pump (11) for supplying fuel to the injecting valve (5), in order to adjust it by application of pressure between the open and the closing position. The feed pump is connected with a gas exchange valve, in order to adjust the valve by application of pressure between the open and the closing position. The feed pump is designed for feed operations working intermittently with high frequency.
