The system for monitoring the risk of collision of an aircraft with a second aircraft (26) comprises a first detector (22) which detects objects in an outer zone (28) surrounding the aircraft. A second detector (24) detects objects in a second zone (30) closer to the aircraft. Both detectors are connected to a processor unit (54) which evaluates the risk of a collision.
