The pump (10) has a heat exchanger (40) arranged in a cooling circuit (2) in a circulating direction in front of a heat engine (50). The heat exchanger is connected with a closed circuit (70) with another heat engine, where waste heat of the pump couples in the closed circuit and is converted into mechanical work by the latter heat engine. The heat engine is arranged in the cooling circuit for producing mechanical work during expansion of the coolant circulating in the cooling circuit.
