Producing a standardized thrombocyte concentrate comprises separating thrombocytes from pooled donor material, collecting a thrombocyte-rich fraction (TRF), testing and/or standardizing the TRF, and dividing the TRF into standardized units. An independent claim is also included for a set of standardized thrombocyte concentrates, each comprising at least 2 x 1011 thrombocytes, produced as above. ACTIVITY : Hemostatic.
