The device comprises a sluice channel (11), where foreign particles (8) are diverted from fiber flow by a pressurized air impulse. A false airflow supports the diverted foreign particles, beginning from the start of the sluice channel to the end of the sluice funnel (5), during transport. The false airflow reaches from the space environment into the sluice channel through a slit opening (9) or more openings arranged on one another.
