The control unit (12) controls hydraulic cylinder (22), hydraulic line (24) , hydraulic aggregate (26) and a hinge (20) of a vehicle (10). The control unit is designed such that two different control signals or control signal sequences are delivered to the hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic line, hydraulic aggregate and the hinge. The control signals or signal sequence are produced such that a rear flap (14) is opened or closed under predetermined conditions with two different moving speed, which lie in certain intervals, respectively. An independent claim is also included for a method for moving a movable vehicle body part of a vehicle.
