Solidified mixed crystals of iron-nickel-alloy (I) with high ductility and an expansion co-efficient of less than 5x 10 - 6/K at room temperature to -200[deg] C, comprises (in wt.%): carbon (0.005-0.05), sulfur (less than 0.02), chromium (1-2), nickel (35-38), manganese (0.3-1.5), sum of molybdenum and tungsten (1-3.5), titanium (0.2-1), niobium (0.2-1), phosphorus (less than 0.02), cobalt (1-4) and remaining portion of iron and production-related impurities. An independent claim is included for: mixed crystals of iron-nickel-alloy (II) with high ductility and an expansion co-efficient of less than 5x 10 - 6/K at room temperature to -200[deg] C, comprises (wt.%): carbon (0.005-0.05), sulfur (less than 0.02), chromium (1-2), nickel (35-38), manganese (0.3-1.5), silicon (less than 0.5), aluminum (0.8-2), titanium (0.2-1), niobium (0.2-1), phosphorus (less than 0.02), cobalt (1-4), remaining portion of iron and production-related impurities.
