A method for storing holographic data, wherein the method comprises:Step (a) providing an optically transparent substrate, comprising a photochemically active dye and a photo acid - generator,Step (b) irradiating the optically transparent substrate with a holographic interference pattern, wherein the pattern comprises a first wavelength and an intensity, both of which are sufficient in order, within a volume element dv of the substrate, at least some of the photochemically active dye in a photograph product and to convert the inside of the irradiated volume element concentration levels - variations of the photo product to produce corresponding to the holographic interference pattern, as a result of which an optically readable date is generated, which corresponds to the volume element, andStep (c) irradiating the optically transparent substrate in the case of a second wavelength and intensity for activating of the photo acid - generator is sufficient in order to stabilize the optically readable date.
