The pump has an air/liquid heat exchanger (14), a compressor (16) and a liquefier (18) forming liquefaction. Air containing heat energy flowing through in the heat exchanger is transferred to liquid refrigerant and to heating water in the liquefier. Another heat exchanger formed as a liquid/air heat exchanger is superordinated to the former heat exchanger. Heat energy of a solar conductor fluid of a thermal solar circuit (13) is transferred to the air flowing through the former exchanger and to the refrigerant or is assigned as a liquid/liquid heat exchanger in a refrigerant circuit. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a heat pump.
