The device has a housing (1) formed from shell-like components (2, 3), and a running wheel (4) of a blower arranged in the housing. A gas-air-mixing section (7) is pneumatically upstream and serves as an air suction opening. The gas-air-mixing section is formed as venturi-nozzle. The housing has a gas-air-mixture outlet opening (8) at a burner-side. The shell-like components of the housing and an outer wall (5) of the gas-air-mixture section are designed as a single piece component. The shell-like components are selectively formed from aluminum die casting or plastic.
