The model vehicle i.e. tower motor car (10), has a housing (12) with a roof on which a working platform (14) is arranged, where the platform is held at a supporting device (16) that is adjustable using piezo-drive units (36, 60). The drive units are arranged in the housing, and the supporting device includes an adjustable support column (22) which carries the working platform. The support column is coupled with the drive units within the housing, where the support column is adjustable in its height by the drive unit (36), and is pivotable around its vertical axis (17) by the drive unit (60).
