The arrangement (1) has lumens (6, 7), where during a treatment phase of a patient over the lumen (6) blood of the patient is transported to a treatment device arranged outside of the patient, and treated blood is reverse transportable into the patient over the lumen (7). A fairlead pump (2) i.e. micro gearwheel pump, is provided for temporary and permanent maintenance of fluid circulation in the lumens outside of the treatment phase. The pump is designed for a pumping capacity in the range of one milliliter per minute.
