The method involves providing a biomass station and a cultivation/epitaxial surface that is located in a near environment, in a biomass energy system (1). Biomass plants are cultivated on the cultivation/epitaxial surface in a delayed cultivation such that biomass is placed in parcels in a delayed manner. The biomass plants are cultivated on the cultivation/epitaxial surface such that the biomass is directly transported and utilized by an adjacent biomass-energy system. A new plant species i.e. igniscum, related to chemical vapor phase oxidation 2007/0149 is used as the biomass. An independent claim is also included for an energy system for executing a method for operating a biomass-energy system.
