The system has an encoding driver provided for a processor and controlling access to data e.g. user data, in a region defined by the encoding driver by a gatekeeper. The access to the data is controlled by combination of the encoding driver and gatekeeper, and access to the defined region is controlled over access rights. The data coded in the region are archived, and are detected only by program in clear text, where the program is authorized by the encoding driver. An independent claim is also included for a method for secure handling of data.
