In a short-term process to artificially influence the earth's climate, the Earth's albedo is changed in accordance with a diurnal rhythm. Further claimed is an assembly consisting of mirrors that by day focus light onto thermal or photovoltaic solar panels, and by night shift to a vertical presentation, allowing unhindered cooling of the earth's surface.
