The sensor has a detection hall unit for detecting magnetic field produced by a detection object, where the detection hall unit has same characteristic as a temperature monitoring hall unit. The detection hall unit outputs hall voltage. The temperature monitoring hall unit has a pair of drive signal supply connections to output temperature monitoring voltage (Vm). A computation circuit (30) performs the computation on the basis of hall voltage and temperature monitoring voltage to correct temperature characteristic of the hall voltage.
