The strapping arrangement has multiple cargo goods arranged on it and are combined with a palette to a transport unit. The transport unit is covered with an approximate horizontal and ring shape strapping (12,13) running at the circumference of the transport unit. Another partial strapping surrounding the transport unit and staying under tape tension (14,15) lies on the horizontal former strapping at a side (17,19) of the transport unit and is guided from the former strapping to a contact point. An independent claim is also included for a method for the production of a transportation unit.
