Control method to a three phases rectifier bridge circuit for load - regulation by pulse width - modulation and power supply unit with such a bridge

A three-phase switch bridge control procedure is designed to regulate a charge by modulating the size of pulses, the bridge being fed by a continuous voltage source (S) with smoothing capacitances (C) mounted between the ends of the bridge. The sequences in which the switches (11,16) of the bridge are actuated are selected so as to minimise the effective current passing through the capacitances. The switches are actuated to regulate the charge by a command unit (Uc) in accordance with set current values.
