The method involves passing a magnetic maghemite particles suspension lot particularly ferric oxide, of given concentration through a microfiltration or ultrafiltration membrane. Dimension of particles of the suspension lot is calibrated to a given calibration, where sixty percentage volume of the particles has a dimension comprised in a range that is summation of a mean value of the particles dimension and deviation. The given calibration is specific value of particle dimension for which fifty percentage volume of the particles has a dimension lower than or equal to the specific value.
