The method involves fixing an iridescent transparent multilayer film (4) on a pigment layer of an iridescent color (2) e.g. blue color, using an adhesive film (3) by plating the film (4) against a smooth outer surface (6) e.g. rough surface, of an iridescent object (1), where the film (4) is made of plastic material. A surface relief is created by exerting a pressure with a tool having a round-shaped point on the surface for modifying a light e.g. blue light, spectrum that is reflected by the object. The film (4) is covered by a protection covering layer (5) e.g. resin layer.
