The system has an image display module (4) for displaying an image corresponding to a speed interval in which the speed of a vehicle is located, where the image stored for each interval is different from images stored in other intervals. The intervals have prerecorded limits corresponding to a speed limit (2). The module is located outside a fixation line of a driver (5) and in its visual field (3) when the driver views a road such that the driver need not turn away the view for perceiving the image, for differentiating other images and for regulating the speed.
