The vehicle (1) has a rear boot (14) including an opening extending from an upper part of the boot to a vertical rear face of the boot. A rigid retractable roof (3) is folded in the upper part of the boot for uncovering a passenger compartment. A door (17) e.g. rigid body element, closes the rear face and is connected to a body of a motor vehicle by a pantograph (20) for moving between a lower closed position in which the door is supported on the rear face of the boot and a top open position in which the door is placed above the upper part of the boot.
