The structure has a U-shaped floating shell (11) provided with legs (12) which are vertically displaced with respect to the shell by a displacement mechanism (20). A shuttle (30) is applied on a lower face of a bridge and is displaced between a bottom position on the shell and a top position which raises the bridge from an offshore oil rig by the corresponding leg. The shuttle is provided with a locking unit for locking on the leg. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for transporting and installing of a bridge (2) a method for disassembling and transporting a bridge.
