The method involves measuring periodically magnitude value of force, by a force sensor, applied at the level of a wheel by a sensor, in which thickness of the tire is variable. A informational message is delivered by a delivering unit (2) when the magnitude value relative to the wheel is different from a value recorded for other wheels and for the previously recorded value of the same wheel. A frequency analysis over the applied force is carried out for determining beat frequency of the wheel and for determining pumping frequency of a case of the vehicle over a suspension system. An independent claim is also included for an installation device for monitoring pressure of tire of a motor vehicle.
