The device (9) has a hydraulic jack (12) connected with a turret (2) and/or a cradle (5) by a structure comprising a deformable polygon (15) e.g. triangle, which is deformed by the action of a direct current electrical motor (22). The deformation of the polygon controls the modification of the length (D) of the connection between the turret and cradle. The electrical motor is coupled with an electronic unit (28) permitting to ensure the piloting of the angular pivotation of the cradle.
