Supply gas flow purifying method for e.g. petrochemical plant, involves stopping circulation of regeneration gas by reducing skin temperature of heater until temperature is less than specific degree Celsius and performing purging of heater
The method involves contacting the supply gas flow with an adsorbent to eliminate the impurity, and recovering the purified or separated gas. The regeneration gas containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide is heated by a heater e.g. vapor heater (80), whose skin temperature is higher than 150 degree Celsius, and the adsorbent is regenerated using the regeneration gas. The circulation of heated regeneration gas on the adsorbent is stopped by reducing the skin temperature until the skin temperature T1 is less than 150 degree Celsius and T1 less than T2 and carrying out purging of the heater.
