The device has a program functioning on a digital processing unit i.e. personal computer, to generate interaction data synchronized with reading execution of a MPEG-1 audio layer-3 (MP3) audio file. A digital player (1) e.g. MPEG-4 type player, has a storage memory that receives the file and data, and a digital signal processing type microprocessor that reads the file and interrupts the data, where the data provides instructions that concern updation of an image display from its screen (2) and consequences of activation/de-activation of buttons (5-10), to the player.
