Vehicle and building panels and roofs may be constructed using plastic and polycarbonate materials, and have lighting systems allowing the pattern and colour of the panels to be altered. The panels may use LED, OLED and PLED lights, and therefore provide illumination and colour/pattern which can be modified when required. The panel may form part of a movable vehicle roof, said panel being rolled up when not required.
